The Hair Center has been a staple of downtown Angola for over 40 years. Jim Morrissey originally opened the shop. I started working for Jim when I was 21 years old. In 2002, I purchased the business. I've now worked at the salon for 40 year. The building was built around 1900 and the picture is of Mast Brothers Mercantile. My goal was to buy the building so in 2015 my husband Jeff and I purchased it. Last yearwe were able to put an apartment upstairs. The next goal is to build a deck onto the upstairs apartment. I have truly loved working and owning a business in downtown Angola. Many of my neighbor business owners and clients I now call friends. I hope you enjoy our salon and the great businesses downtown.
